Blog: The Life Of A Supreme Ruler
Problems hopefully sorted out

As title. Will post more later/tomorrow. Supper now.
The delights of the G.U.
The G.U. (I won’t explain what that means in case the G.U. reads this) is getting more and more annoying these days. Oh well. I’ll survive, I guess.
Other than that, things are generally going well. Some of the 30-year-old beds in ‘E’ block are being replaced now with new beds, which is good – all the other blocks have had new beds for years, and we haven’t. Bryony is sitting across from me writing an e-mail REALLY LOUDLY, and using an excessive number of exclamation marks. And she’s complaining because someone ripped some “tips” out of a magazine nearby. *sigh*
Ta ta for now.
Sunday today

Remember, remember the 7th of November. Don’t ask why, though. I guess that’s just the date today. Well, there was no bonfire this year, as is becoming usual nowadays… they killed it with all that insurance lark. Anyway, stuff to do, so that’s today’s interesting blog done.
Yay, problems again!
Hmm, overnight, JervHost has decided to die again, which means that owenrudge.net is presently inaccessible. *sigh*
Always something with these web servers… the fact is though, my sites are spread out over so many servers, it’s hard to keep track of them. Doing some quick adding up, my entire network of sites is spread over some 10 servers (6 of those are purely download servers though).
EDIT: Well, would you look at that. Literally just after I post this blog entry, owenrudge.net comes back up again! 😀
Strange, that

Hmm, the comments table had managed to lock itself somehow… told it to repair and everything’s fine. Weird. Oh well, I’m back home now. The cPanel license issue on the new server is nearly sorted, stupid company gave me a 2-week license instead of a proper one. :/
That’s that for now, got stuff to do, as is not entirely unusual.
Blog, ehm, messed up
I realise the blog is slightly messed up with MySQL errors, this will be fixed at the weekend. Anyway, don’t have much time, so that’s that for now.
OK, it’s been a little quiet

I haven’t posted anything in those spot for over a month, but I have been doing some cool stuff. Mainly I’ve been developed the Expanded Airport Pack which will not only contain a fix for the Large Airport lock-ups, but 2 new airports!
You can look forward to a new larger Heliport, with 4 helipads, to enable you to service towns from the air with much greater efficiency. I’m also developing a dual runway airport, although it’s having some tough times, a lot has been learnt from the previous tests (and documented on the wiki!) so it should go quite well. It is only planned to have 4 terminals, whereas the initial designs had 7, but it should be quite efficient, so more shouldn’t be needed. Problems with the structure of the airport limited the number of terminals greatly.
I have still been updating the scenario section whenever I have been sent a new scenario. So if you have a masterpiece you wish to share, just send me an e-mail (details are on the scenario page). I will also be accepting any tutorials you can create, as doing everything myself is proving troublesome. So if you have one, or just an idea, send me a mail and I’ll see what I can do.
Lunchtime blog
A quick lunchtime blog, might not be able to do it later. Computer room at hostel still closed, and got a students council meeting tonight, and then swimming. The Effigy site is up, so have a look at it. Anyway, bell just rung, so best go!
Hmm

Well, UFOTD ended up going for about $1,600 last night (some £900 or more). I didn’t want to spend quite that much money on it, funnily enough… oh well, there are plenty more fish in the sea. Well, there are some fish in the sea, at least.
Halloween passed last night without that much hassle – a few fireworks were set off (very pretty fireworks, not seen fireworks in quite a while), but that was about the long and short of it, as far as I was concerned. It’s November now though, and over here in the UK, we’re using GMT again. It was actually light when I got up this morning, but it’ll be dark by 4pm, I imagine. Only just-under-two-months until Christmas!
I’m at the library right now as the computer room at the hostel is still shut. I don’t know if it’ll be shut until the end of term if nobody owns up… I might raise this at the Student’s Council meeting tomorrow (which I am a member of… the eldest member, in fact.)
Oh well, toodle pip.
