Wind!

It’s very windy today… so windy, in fact, that all schools in Orkney have been closed. 🙂 Hurricane-force winds of over 100mph, possibly as high as 115mph say the Met Office, battered the place last night… it’s a wonder the hostel didn’t fall down! I remember my room shaking a bit as I tried to get to sleep, then I woke up to Matt or someone shouting that there was no school. It appears that the wind has had quite an effect nationally.
And that’s the news for today!
