Power cut!

Gah, we had a power cut over the whole of the island earlier today for a couple of hours… was rather annoying. I got quite a bit of Poor Things read though for English, although in the light of oil lamps and candles, it wasn’t always that easy. Then we managed to get a portable TV working (which normally used very weird batteries, or an AC adapter) by rigging it up to a 12 volt car battery… shortly after that, the power came back on though. Oh well, at least I got me roast dinner tonight! 🙂
